What is EPC?

EPC stands for Engineering, Procurement, Construction — planning, sourcing and building from a single source. An EPC partner delivers a photovoltaic system turnkey and carries overall responsibility for the project.

Instead of coordinating an engineering office, wholesaler and installation crew separately, with Greenion you have a single contract partner: we design the system, procure modules, inverters and mounting structures, build the plant, handle grid registration and certification — and on request take over operations and maintenance (O&M) afterwards. For commercial and industrial projects from 100 kWp, this model is the standard because it eliminates interface risks and creates clear responsibility.

Greenion delivers PV systems from 100 kWp for commercial and industrial buildings. Battery storage and EV charging infrastructure can be integrated into the system design from the start.

What does a commercial PV system from 100 kWp cost?

Costs depend on roof condition, grid connection situation and component selection. In a free initial consultation, Greenion prepares an economic feasibility analysis with multiple operation models — self-consumption, feed-in and direct supply — so you can decide based on concrete numbers.

How does an EPC project with Greenion work?

In four phases: initial consultation with load profile analysis, planning and permitting including grid registration, turnkey construction with commissioning and certification, followed by operations with monitoring and maintenance.

Does Greenion also handle maintenance and operations?

Yes. Greenion offers O&M (Operations & Maintenance): technical monitoring, maintenance contracts and commercial management — handled digitally in our own Greenion Flow software, including for systems not built by Greenion.

Is battery storage worthwhile for commercial businesses?

Storage increases self-consumption and can cap load peaks (peak shaving), which reduces grid fees. Whether it pays off depends on the company's load profile — Greenion simulates this as part of the feasibility analysis.
