Logistics Center Siegenburg

The system at the Siegenburg logistics center, at 1,999 kWp, is one of the largest rooftop PV projects Greenion has delivered to date. At its core is a 4 MWh battery storage system that buffers generated solar power and significantly increases the self-consumption rate of the energy-intensive operation. The energy system is complemented by fast EV charging stations on site.

Greenion managed the complete EPC process: works and assembly planning, design and construction of two new LV switchboards (NSHV-PV), implementation of the full communication concept and control systems, certification, grid application and permitting through to turnkey commissioning. The battery integration allows the facility to shave peak loads — for both production and charging infrastructure — and maintain self-consumption into the evening and overnight hours.
