Industrial Facility Brilon

The Brilon project placed exceptional demands on planning and execution due to its system complexity. The new 571 kWp rooftop installation on the industrial production building had to be seamlessly integrated with an existing PV system on leased adjacent land, an existing battery storage unit, and an EV charging infrastructure.

Particularly challenging was the certification process: the existing installations partially deviated from their original plans, and certain components could not be certified under current standards. This led to intensive technical negotiations with the grid operator, in which Greenion developed solutions that were both standards-compliant and economically viable. The result is a fully integrated energy system unifying generation, storage, and charging infrastructure under a single energy management platform.
